So GCI, one of our most beloved clients, asked us Monday if we would make them a commercial for their cellular service. The challenge… they needed it as fast as humanly possible, no, something that only an android could pull off. We did it.

One of the beauties of the media revolution is the way in which stock photo and video is so readily available. Enter iStockphoto. We love these guys. We have a lot of clients who just don’t have the money to spend on big budget shoots. Or in this case, when we need something now and we mean now. I was able to find this slow-motion footage before and had it in the back of my mind for a possible later use.

It worked perfectly. Matt Twohy, our brilliant copywriter went to work on the copy and I went to work on the song. I didn’t write it from scratch, but I purchased sound-bites (again thaks iStock) and spliced them together in Garageband. So here is the final project. A thirty second spot in a day.
